A Motherson Mosonmagyaróvári KC és Barbara Arenhart útjai különválnak, világbajnok brazil kapusunk távozik klubunktól.
Babi 2025 nyarán érkezett Mosonmagyaróvárra az RK Krim Mercator Ljubljana együttesétől. Már érkezésekor hatalmas nemzetközi tapasztalatot hozott magával, hiszen hosszú pályafutása során számos országban és meghatározó európai klubban szerepelt, a brazil válogatottal pedig 2013-ban világbajnoki címet szerzett.
Mosonmagyaróváron hamar fontos szerepet vállalt a csapat életében. Tapasztalata, határozottsága és győzni akarása nemcsak a mérkőzéseken, hanem a mindennapi munkában is sokat adott a közösségnek.
A 2025/26-os szezon kiváló EHF European League-szerepléséből oroszlánrészt vállalt. Több fontos mérkőzésen is kulcsszerepet játszott védéseivel, rutinja és jelenléte pedig komoly stabilitást adott a védekezés mögött. Az európai menetelés során számos emlékezetes pillanat fűződött a nevéhez, és teljesítményével jelentősen hozzájárult ahhoz, hogy csapatunk a nemzetközi porondon is komoly eredményeket érjen el.
Babi személyisége, szenvedélye és profi hozzáállása miatt gyorsan a csapat és a szurkolók által is megbecsült játékossá vált. Nemcsak a kapuban nyújtott teljesítményével, hanem rutinjával és karakterével is sokat adott a közösségnek.
Távozása kapcsán Babi így búcsúzott:
„Ez sosem könnyű, de eljött az idő, hogy búcsút mondjak annak a helynek, amely több mint egy éven keresztül az otthonom volt. Hálás vagyok az itt töltött időért és mindenért, ami vele járt. Jó embereket ismerhettem meg, akiket egy életre megőrzök, szép élményekkel gazdagodtam, és rengeteg dolgot tanultam, amit magammal viszek, bármit is hozzon a következő időszak. Csak tisztelettel és hálával távozom a klubtól, valamint mindazoktól, akik részesei voltak az itt töltött időszakomnak. A szurkolók pedig valóban fantasztikusak, és külön említést érdemelnek. Köszönöm mindenkinek, akivel megoszthattam ezt az utat, és minden jót kívánok nektek a jövőre nézve!”
Babit az Eger elleni hazai mérkőzésünkön búcsúztatjuk el.

Motherson Mosonmagyaróvári KC and Barbara Arenhart are parting ways, as our Brazilian world champion goalkeeper leaves the club.
Babi joined Mosonmagyaróvár in the summer of 2025 from RK Krim Mercator Ljubljana. She arrived with a wealth of international experience, having played in several countries and for major European clubs during her career, while also winning the 2013 World Championship with the Brazilian national team.
She quickly became an important part of the team in Mosonmagyaróvár. Her experience, determination and winning mentality contributed not only during matches, but also to the everyday work and mentality of the team.
Babi played a major role in the team’s excellent EHF European League campaign in the 2025/26 season. Her saves proved decisive in several important matches, while her experience and presence provided great stability behind the defence. She was a key figure during our European run and contributed significantly to the memorable performances we achieved on the international stage.
Her personality, passion and professional attitude made her a highly respected member of the team and among our supporters as well. She gave a lot to the club not only with her performances in goal, but also with her character and experience.
Babi said goodbye with the following words:
“It is never easy , but it is time to say goodbye for what was my home for more than a year . I’m thankful for the time I’ve spent here and for everything that came with it. I’ve met good people Im keeping for life, had good experiences, and learned a lot of things that I’ll take with me into whatever comes next. I leave with nothing but respect and appreciation for the club and the people who have been a part of my time here. For the fans, you are truly amazing and deserve a special mention here. Thank you to everyone with whom I shared this journey with, I wish you all the very best in the future !”
We will say goodbye to Babi at our home match against Eger.
